In April of 2022 I joined the Board of Commissioners to fill an open seat. My 2019 campaign for City Commission missed a position on the Board by 8 votes. I grew up in Minnesota and completed my formal education with degrees in Studio Art and Mechanical Engineering. Employment with 3M led my husband, Richard and me to Austin, Texas where we lived for 25 years. Increased heat and drought encouraged us to find a new home. After careful research we chose Frankfort. We were attracted by the possibilities for gardening, outdoor activities, the historic setting, and most of all to be part of a vibrant community. I have been an active member of Walk-Bike Frankfort, Focus on Race Relations, and served 4 years on the Board of the Frankfort Plant Board. My goal is to make Frankfort an ideal place to live, work, and visit.
