Copies of Agendas and Reports are available in the front lobby of the Municipal Building, 315 West Second Street, on Friday preceding a regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting.

Anyone wishing to place an item on the agenda for a meeting must submit the item with supporting documentation, if any, to the City Clerk by 12:00 Noon on the fourth working day prior to the meeting, with copies provided to the Board of Commissioners.

• The agenda shall be prepared by the City Manager with input from the Board of Commissioners.
• The agenda may be amended only by the City Manager or a consensus of the Board of Commissioners.

Frankfort's Parks and Recreation Department operates nine parks, providing a variety of facilities for swimming, baseball, softball, football, golf, horse shoes, tennis, volleyball, basketball, hiking, picnicking, etc. One of the parks, Lakeview Park, is a joint city/county park. The City of Frankfort is fortunate to have a relatively low crime rate.

The City uses many types of maps to communicate with citizens, customers, and other public and private organizations. Our map page offers a variety of maps in many different formats.

The City of Frankfort has one daily new paper the State Journal http://www.state-journal.com/, and three radio stations WFKY-FM, Froggy 104.9 http://www.myfroggy1049.com, playing country music and featuring live and local personalities, also WSTV-FM, Star 103.7 http://www.star1037.com, playing the hits today, the 90's, and 80's, and WKYW-AM, Talk 1490, a talk radio station (all owned by Forever Communications). In addition to local news the State Journal also covers state political news. Frankfort has one cable television system channel 10, which is operated by the Frankfort Plant Board. Channel 10 broadcast local public meetings including councils, commissions, school boards and others as well as high school sports.

Other media for local regional information include  public and private television, radio, and new paper in Lexington and Louisville as well as other surrounding communities.
