STREAMLINE RECYCLING PROGRAM

Below is a brief summary of the City's Recycle Program:

CURBSIDE PICK-UP

  • News papers, inserts, catalogues, magazines, office paper, school papers, phone books, junk mail. flyers, door hangers, and shredded paper.
  • Plastic bottles 1 through 5, soft drink containers, laundry detergent jugs, fabric softer jugs, bleach bottles, milk jugs, and cooking oil bottles. Please rinse out all containers.
  • Cans, aluminum soda or beer cans, steel food cans, aerosol cans (hair spray, etc). Please make sure all cans are empty and clean of food residue
  • Corrugated cardboard, box board (paper food container boxes), soft drink containers, and pizza boxes.  Make sure all boxes are free of any food and packing materials, and must be broken down and placed under recycling bin.
NOTE: Recyclable material shall be placed in bins provided by the City.  Recyclable materials placed in plastic bags will not be collected.   • Glass, bottles, jars, any color
    No window glass, mirrors, or ceramic glass (please remove metal lids)
  • E-scrap, computers, monitors, keyboards, mouse, printers, etc.  Please on T.V.'s, industrial copiers, and microwaves

BUSINESS'S ARE WELCOME (Call for appointment)
Drop-off time for E-scrap: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm

Recycling and Solid Waste Schedule

The following Subdivisions are collected on Tuesday:

Bellepoint, Blanton Acres, Fort Boone, Buttimer Hill, Colony, Imperial, Cavelawn, Parkview, River Bend, Holly Hills, North Frankfort, Holmes Street, Thornhill, Berry Hill

The following Subdivisions are collected on Wednesday:

Arlington Heights, Montrose Park, College Park, Glenns Creek, Crestwood, Fairview Heights, Hickory Hills, Landings,  Schenkelwood, Lyons Drive, Capital View, Franklin Acres, Franklin Heights, Rolling Acres, Bellview, Ridgeview, Arnold Ridge

The following Subdivisions are collected on Thursday:

Butler Addition, Grandview, Eastover, Brishton Park, Cardinal Hills, Tierra Linda, Inverness, Silver Lake, Woodlands, Indian Hills

The following Subdivisions are collected on Friday:

Cedars, Garden Point, Meadows, Westgate, Westwood, Cloverdale, South Frankfort, Tanglewood, Thistleton
