COVID-19 DECLARED EMERGENCY
CITY OF FRANKFORT OPEN RECORDS POLICY
April 1, 2020 In accordance with the provisions of Kentucky Senate Bill 150, effective March 30, 2020, the City of Frankfort Open Records Policy is as follows: The City will respond to records requests within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of the request. Requests are highly encouraged to be emailed to the City Clerk at cmaxwell@frankfort.ky.gov. As City Hall is currently closed to the public, other methods of submission are likely to experience delays in response. On-site inspections will be delayed indefinitely during the pendency of this declared emergency. All other laws and policies related to open records requests remain the same. Please email any questions regarding this policy to cmaxwell@frankfort.ky.gov, or call 502-875- 8500 to connect to the City Clerk’s Office. This policy will be in effect until superseded by other law or policy, or until the declared emergency is lifted.
